It’s Your Time!
Is it your time? Maybe you just need a little push or encouragement!
From the way I read the story in John 2:1-11, Mary called Jesus into His Time!
Mary said Son they are running out of wine. Wine is one of the symbols of the Holy Spirit in the Bible! Jesus responds, “Women it is not yet my time”. Mary without hesitation turned and told his boys, “Do whatever He says!”
It sure seems as though the urging of His mother resulted in Jesus realizing it was His time. If that is true, Mary called the Savior of the World into His Destiny! The old saying, ‘Mother knows best’ might have been coined that day. The World was running extremely low and in dire need of both the Holy Spirit and a Savior.
I’ve heard it said, the wealthiest location on planet earth is the cemetery. It is a place where so many dreams and dreamers die long before reaching their Destiny! Sadly each dream succumbing to become a casualty of fear and doubt.
Lack of Faith is the No.1 killer of fulfilling the God given destiny in your life. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Low on wine, they needed a miracle. Jesus, recently baptized and now full of the Holy Spirit, was ready and his mother knew it!
Read the entire Chapter of Romans 8, then read Psalms Chapter 24, then read them again in a couple more translations like the Message and Passion translations!
Just to make sure you are now ready, let’s add one more promise found in 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NIV): “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
If your Spirit is not telling you it’s time after all that, then set your song list on repeat and listen to Kari Jobe sing “Let the Light In” about a 100 times!
Wake up oh sleeper cause “It’s time”!
