Tua captured the college football world overnight last season as he seemingly came out of nowhere the second half of the National Championship game to lead Alabama to victory. What amazed me was his post game interviews! He was completely at peace, so poised and powerful and confident in explaining how he was able to do what most would consider the impossible. His humility and faith provide him a foundation but it was the Holy Spirit in him that allowed him to show up in way that was unexplainable. I love when the world can’t figure out God’s miraculous power even when a young man explains it to them after the game. I saw this same power in Tim Tebow, Steph Curry, Jeremy Linn, Andre Igoudala and why can’t you and your athletes not function in this same power. The cost was the cross. It is paid for and God is waiting for you to ask for it. All you have to do is ask, receive, and give the glory to the ONE who gave it ALL for YOU!
