Many of my post will be blogs or videos that discuss the Holy Spirit. I feel it is very important that I post a detailed list of scripture that allow you to read what the Bible says regarding the Spirit. Feel free to email me any additional scripture that you feel need to be added to my list. Enjoy!
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, Says the Lord of Host.” Zachariah 4:6
“I can guarantee this truth: Those who believe in me will do things that I am doing. They will even do even greater things because I am going to the Father. I will do anything you ask the Father in my name so that the Father will be given Glory because of the Son. If you ask me to do something. I will do it. If you love me, you will obey my commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another helper who will be with you forever. That helper is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept him. You know him, because he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you alone. I will come back to you. In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you only will see me. You will live because I live. On that day you will know that you are in me and that I am in you.” John 14:12-20
“But I am going back to the Father who sent Me, and none of you asks me where I am going. You are very sad from hearing all of this. They watched until a cloud hid Him from their sight.” Acts 1:8-9

God said that His people should celebrate this day with special offerings and by doing no work. No matter where they lived God wanted the Jews to celebrate this feast. We call it the feast of the Pentecost, which means “the fiftieth day”. Jewish people who lived in other countries came. The Bible says they came from every country under the sun.” Leviticus 23:15-16, 21 Acts 2:5
“The Day of Pentecost came. The believers all gathered in one place. Suddenly a sound came from Heaven. It was like a strong wind blowing. It filled the whole house where they were sitting.
