Passion (pt 3) It was not just another Easter
How awesome was your Passion Week celebration?
It is impossible to capture in words, nor is there any way we can even compare anything to the Love Jesus demonstrated by what He willingly went through on the Cross on Nisan 14. The Messiah followed His unmeasurable display of Love with an unimaginable display of Power through His Resurrection on Nisan 17.
The movie Risen did as masterful of a job as I have seen in demonstrating what it would have been like to actually witness in person Jesus resurrection.
They proposed a fictional story where they took the soldier in charge of crucifying Jesus, after he had looked directly into the eyes of the dead body on the cross, he was charged with finding the body of the Risen Savior. Just when his search has finally closed in on capturing the disciples, he walks into the room and looks directly into the eyes of the Risen Savior. His knees buckle and his mind is shattered into a million pieces as he tries to wrap his mind around witnessing the impossible!
Easter should hit each of us in similar stunning fashion, like a wrecking ball each and every year. It should touch our hearts so powerfully that we are never the same. It should wake up the sleeper in each of us causing us to shout out a war cry similar to that of Jesus last breath on the cross!

As we near the end of the month of Nisan, the Month of Miracles, this time I am unable to let it let it go by like it is just another month and holiday on the calendar. It is an annual reminder and a powerful wake up call for all of us. A call that all of us should be ready and willing to answer,
