July 19-21 on the Beautiful Campus of Oklahoma Wesleyan University
Cost is Free! The only is if you choose to stay on campus. You can stay on campus for $50, only $25 per night.

The SLC3 Experience will Include:
- Sessions focused on adding the Power of the Holy Spirit in your Program.
(Jesus is God’s gift to us, The Holy Spirit is Jesus gift to empower us in this life)
- Sport Specific Round Table Sessions Saturday morning where Each Sport Represented will have a chance to learn from each other.
– Round Table Sessions on both Faith and Sport. Share your story and faith and learn from each other.
- Powerful Guest Speakers that are on Fire for Christ and will share their secrets to how to tap in to the power of the Holy Spirit daily.
– Evening Worship, Fellowship and so much more! Come experience Christ as a coach like never before!
– Special Guest Speaker Michael Berry is Deputy General Counsel for First Liberty Institute – Restoring Religious Liberty for All Americans. He was the chief counsel for high school coach Joe Kennedy who lost his job for refusing to stop praying on the field following football games. Berry will be speaking about the legal rights of coaches both in private and public settings when it comes to religious liberty.

THE SLC3 COACHING EXPERIENCE
Most of my Coaches tried to separate my faith from the court. Their argument was God does to not care who wins a game. They pointed to the fact that many of your opponents are Christians too. Some of my other coaches simply did not have strong faith and felt the need to motivate with fear repeating how they had been taught. A military boot camp mindset feeling the need to strengthening their athletes by cursing at them and playing mental games, which brings mental toughness. It does work to an extent, but not even close to the extent that love, discipline, and empowering them with the power of the Holy Spirit motivates.
Face it, times have changed. Many athletes come from broken homes and are fatherless. Maybe the method many of us were taught is not the most successful route to motivate or teach today’s athlete. The days of abusing athletes mentally and grabbing them physically are gone. It is time you learn a different approach to coaching.
