Most NFL QB’s Love Jesus

NFL

How awesome is the title of this blog! I love continuing to see QB’s with strong faith in Jesus having uncommon success in the NFL. Leaders of warriors, like Big Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees, Patrick Mahoney, Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray, Carson Wentz, Nick Foles, and now Tuanigamanuolepola “Tua” Tagovailoa, week after week show up and show off for their KING.

An estimate three-fourths of NFL starting QB’s are evangelical Christians!

I know none of them, nor none of us, are perfect and just calling yourself a Christian does not guarantee wins on the field. These warriors have to walk it out just like the rest of us day after day through the valleys and on the mountain tops. It is about a personal relationship with Jesus that allows God’s Glory to shine through you.

A decision to follow JESUS does guarantee winning the one championship that truly matters. From experience, I can promise you, that seeking God with all your heart does result in peace, power, joy, and strength and courage that results in favor that the world is unfamiliar with. I believe this article is valid proof that placing your faith in Jesus Christ is obviously producing on and off the field all the way to the NFL and beyond. Way beyond!

These warriors are not bullet proof. Tua was on top of the college football world when things came crashing down. Facing an injury that could end his career, Tua did not stand alone, he leaned on his Savior. His faith helped him overcome injury and once again rise to the top. Today, he led the Miami Dolphins to their fourth consecutive win. Not a bad NFL debut.

Now Dak Prescott is enduring a pit. There is no more powerful of testimony than observing these men when they go down. Dak states after his recent injury, “My faith is double down more than ever and I’m thankful that He’s my Savior and He guides me in my life!”

The championships of warriors like Big Ben and Drew Brees speak for themselves, but each and every one of these warriors have fought with faith through dark and challenging valleys with the same enemy you and I face. How powerful is it that they need the same Jesus as you and I to overcome the enemy?

Whether your enemy is an eating disorder or cancer, Jesus is enough. Through the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus sent for each of us to overcome, we can all overcome our enemies with crazy confidence, because at the root of all our faith is that Jesus already won the fight and as believers in our Risen King, we will join Him in Glory soon. For now, continue to fight the good fight of faith and shine with His Glory.

You don’t hear enough about athletes of great faith in the media. Negative news sells. Instead of allowing yourself to hate all NFL players, I challenge you to look for the good in the darkness. Allow the love in you to see what others fail to see. Why, because love never fails. Why not focus on the Jesus in the top Athletes in the World as they continue to use their gifts to bring Glory to our God!

It doesn’t stop there as the top QB in college football, Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, is an outspoken follower of Jesus as well. Other great players like Christian McCaffrey at other positions speak boldly of their faith. It is time for all Christians to unite and stand strong.
