What Qualifies as a Miracle?

Been a while since my last post. Sorry, but the fact I have a webpage at all is a miracle. The point is “What qualifies as a miracle?”

‘Do You Believe in Miracles’ is one of my favorite lines and ‘Miracle on Ice’ is one of my favorite movies. One of the biggest reasons people love sports is that every game provides a chance to see a miracle. The Knicks comeback in game six was without a doubt a miracle.

Yesterday, with the help of YouTube, I fixed my 1997 Waverunner. It had sat in my garage for nearly two years and my family had begged me to junk it a hundred times. Well, I am a little hard headed and don’t give up on people or things very easy. That can be a good and bad thing. This time it was a great thing as I took my pups jet skiing yesterday afternoon. Yeah, my pups love riding on the ski.

One of my favorite people ever is Fred Crowell and he told nearly every person he met, “You’re a Miracle” and he meant it. The amount of power in that action is nearly impossible to measure or describe.

I have studied all of Jesus miracles and even what time of day most of the Bible’s hardest to believe miracles took place. I have seen miracles that many of you would not believe, but coolest thing is that even the smallest of miracles can change a life.

Just looking around me right now as I write, miracles are all around me. From how I made it to this point in my life in such a beautiful home, to the fact my Grandog Buddy is as healthy as a horse after given a very small chance to survive his stomach rupturing. Just two of the countless miracles I will see today alone.

A person with a high IQ has no more ability to explain, deny, or try to explain away a miracle than a young child. Actually it works in reverse as God’s Word says we can’t even reach Heaven without a childlike faith, which is the essence of a miracle.

Friday is my wife and my 33rd marriage anniversary. In this day and time, that is a miracle. Seek the miracle worker and become a miracle. Better yet, go be someone else’s miracle today.
