Jesus is in the Details
Look out your window and what do you see? The clouds, the sun, people wandering around, an animal, or can you take a moment to refocus and see Jesus?
What you don’t see is the wind, yet you feel it. What you don’t see is the heat, but you feel it. What you don’t see is fear, but you can sense it. What you don’t see enough, is faith, but without it, it is impossible to please God.
I have never met a great coach who in their own way was not all about the details. Players want freedom and they often believe the lie that details are their enemy. That concept cannot be any further from the truth.
I want my players playing fearless, free, fast, and focused. In order to do this, I have found that the key is to create detailed habits that both allow you to be creative and disciplined. Is that not our Maker?
Jesus chose a team. I see Him as a coach.
Jesus was always teaching His players, His disciples. He chose a bunch of nobodies to take His message to the ends of the earth!
Often these nobodies saw much of what Jesus told them as insignificant details. Yet, as they walked longer and grew closer to Him, the significance of every word He taught became more powerfully obvious.
I have been asked numerous times by students “How do you see or hear from God”? My response, “How do you not see God”! He is hidden everywhere. He is right in front of you! Just start focusing on the details.
Look at a caterpillar, a butterfly, watch a hummingbird fly, or an eagle soar, everything screams there is an almighty Creator who loves details.
The Truth is, if you want to see Jesus, then you must learn to search and look closer at the details. Every word in the Bible has significance. God promises us that if we Seek, then we will find! Jesus came to open the eyes of the blind, both the spiritual and physical blind.
If you want others to see Jesus in you, then you must also focus on the details. Your words, your actions, every detail tells and shows the world who and whose you are.
Live a life of detailed significance. Doing so will lead you and others to eternal success.
