Show & Tell

Pretty sure almost all of you at one point in your life have had the opportunity to take part in some sort of “SHOW and TELL”. To most people “SHOW & TELL” it brings the ultimate fear. 

Standing in front of a crowd and sharing something or showing them something is one of the greatest fears the enemy has to offer. As a kid, when called to stand before the class, I would turn twelve shades of red. I would feel the fear taking hold of my heart  as it rose up in me ending with my ears turning a bright red color causing everyone to laugh. What came next was usually stuttering and clammy sweaty palms. 

This pattern continued until one day God put a basketball in my hands and a crowd in the stands. Deep inside me, i felt God say,  “Now show them what I can do in and through you!”  All fear left and the crowd faded in the background as I found my calling and ministry that day. 

Now for nearly 50 years, God has “Shown Them” and I have done my best to “Tell Them” about my Jesus! The source of my strength, confidence, and all good things that have happened in my life. Over and over again despite my weakness, God has shined through. I know where any and all the success I have enjoyed has come from and Jesus deserves 100 percent of the Glory. God promises if we meditate “Focus our Hearts” on Him and His Word, then we will enjoy good success. 

Today our Heavenly Father has graced our Team with another opportunity to Spread the Gospel on a big stage called Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City. We take the floor at 5 PM against a great opponent. We will do our best to Show the World what God can do through a bunch of nobodies and We Believe He can Do Anything! 

Our Goal is to Preach the Gospel through a Game! This is our Battle Cry! 

“Join me, everyone! Let’s praise the Lord together. Let’s make him famous! Let’s make his name glorious to all.”
