Much like his QB counterpart, Tua Tagovailoa, in the upcoming NCAA BCS Football Championship, and his head coach, Dabo Swinney, Trevor Lawrence has a source of strength that allows him to rise above the pressure and challenges of normal freshman college football players. If you click on Coach Swinney’s link above then you will clearly see why Lawrence chose to play for Swinney and you will also see why Dabo had the faith to make the difficult decision of placing the ball in the hands of a freshman at the biggest stage of college football. Tua last season in the biggest game of the season, when it seemed to be the darkest hour for the Crimson Tide, was able to show the world the power of a life completely baptized in the Spirit of Christ. Every college football player that has ever played would say that they would love to trade places with Trevor or Tua during those moments or in the upcoming BCS Championship, but fact is there is a reason that these two David’s can handle the pressure of the moment. Same reason Kyler Murray and Jalen Hurts were able to accomplish amazing feats this season. Click on any of the names above and listen and read for yourself!

More and more Christian athletes are exposing the secret to their ability to go beyond what most others are able to accomplish. Just a couple more great examples are Steph Curry and Drew Brees. When the world is selling beat your chest and bring glory to yourself, these warriors are bringing Glory to their King and rising above the rest! Need I point to Nick Foles and last years Super Bowl or what he did last week again to prove my point?

I know it is easy to argue that all of the athletes that I have mentioned above are special. They have God given talent and agility, but so do so many of their counterparts, yet how are these athletes rising to the top? This article written to bring attention to Trevor Lawrence, he would not want that, it was written to bring attention to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Enjoy reading or hearing it for yourself! The Faith of Trevor Lawrence!
