Pastor Jentezen Franklin

Before watching any message that i post, please consider this. There is no way that you will agree with everything said by each speaker in all the messages i ha e shared. Always make sure what said aligns with the word of God. One of my mentors once told me, “Eat the meat and throw out the bones!” It is as simple as that. Look for nuggets that you can apply to your life and your team! I have only shared a handful of the great messages i have heard from these Spiritual warriors of God, i had to stop somewhere, so for now i hope you enjoy and are empowered from what i have shared. If you hear a great message that needs to be heard, please feel free to email me the link! I will listen to it prayerfully and consider adding it to the list!

A Stick:

Pastor Franklin is one of the most unique speakers i have listened to. Despite his age, he is able to speak and connect to any generation. The message on a stick came at a tough time for me. Just last season, we had lost two games in a row and 3 out of our last 5. I felt i had lost my ability help our team win close games. We were inventing ways to lose. We were up 10 with 1 minute left and lost. I was searching for answers. I have a saying i have said many times after pulling out a close win, “Never in doubt”! Well doubt was pouring in. This simple message helped me so much. I just had to return to being a stick, so God could use me. I actually took a wooden baseball bat that i made in wood shop in the 8th grade to our next game and brought it to the bench along with my bible. A reminder for me to just be a stick! A bible in one hand and bat in the other. Not sure what the officials were thinking. Really didn’t care. Lol. God used sticks to part the Red Sea, turn into a snake and eat the enemies snakes, listen to this message a see what else God did with a simple stick!

Prosperity of Adversity:

Adversity! The cornerstone principle of our program at OKWU since God gave me the position in 2007 is found in James 1:2 Consider Adversity Pure Joy. I tweeted it a little as you will hear me and my players often say “Pure Joy Baby”! You see in life and sports it is not a matter of if Adversity is coming, it is when! On the road it always shows up, but 99 percent of teams if not prepared for it, will act shocked and lose their focus, some teams say “Next Play” others clap twice, but our power comes from James 1:2! This message does a great job teaching on adversity and how to beat it!

A Spirit of the Carpenter:
