Saints Ben Watson Warrior & Family Man
Powerful message from one of the most admired and successful stars in the NFL. Ben Watson made possibly the biggest hustle play in NFL history. He also recently caught a record breaking TD pass from Drew Brees, but neither play defines what truly makes Watson special. He has overcome an Achilles injury and has even been able to challenge father time, but his devotion to the number seven is what I admire Watson the most. Seven holds special meaning in the Bible as it is both the number of completion and perfection. Watson’s TD celebration after catching the record breaking TD pass from Brees demonstrated both the same! I also found it ironic that Brees, a man of powerful faith, connected with Watson of equal powerful faith to break the all-time NFL TD pass record. Brees said there was no one else that he would have rather made the pass to.
