World War 3 – A Battle of Life or Death

War

Blame the Chinese or whoever you want for the crisis we find ourselves in, but nobody except the man upstairs saw this one coming. World War 3 is a script few, if any, authors or analyst envisioned. The truth is that behind every single war the same evil enemy hides his dark face. While he unleashes the same plan of fear, anxiety, panic and depression, we tend to bite hook, line, and sinker to whatever the bad news tells us. Multiply this evil greatly when you add the mass chaos that social media and the internet spreads.

The World is under siege like we have not seen during our lifetime. There is and always has been only one answer to this enemy and His name is Jesus Christ! 2000 years ago, our Savior changed everything in a dark and suffering world. The Good News is He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! It is time once again to turn our eyes on Heaven. It is time to choose Life!

Speak Life into someone today, tomorrow, and every day! Until this darkness and death is no more. An evil that preys on the weak and elderly only comes from the depths of hell. If we don’t change our focus, then all we will hear is bad news of death and doom during this time of crisis. John 10:10 says it clear, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Are you going to choose Life, Light, and Love, or are you going to listen to the daily lies that are full of gloom? Satan is the father of Lies. In John 6:35 Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” He repeated it again in John 6:48, “I am the bread of Life.” Jesus does not repeat Himself unless He desires you to focus diligently on His words, plan, and purpose for you. Jesus takes it one step further in John 6:51 as He tells the multitude following Him, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And this bread, which I will give for the life of the world, is My flesh.”

Yes, Jesus lets the bandwagon fans know that He is not just a prophet. He is God and that He came down from heaven. In John 6:66, the only time 666 is mentioned as a verse in the New Testament, a multitude of fair-weather disciples walked away from the King of Kings that day, all except twelve. Are you going to make the same mistake that these passive followers of Christ made that dark day or are you going to stand strong versus this enemy and choose Life today?

When many see evil as Pro-Life or Pro-Choice, I see it as black and white. It is Pro-Life or Pro-Death. You either choose Life of you choose death.

It’s a Wonderful Life is one of my favorite movies and one of the greatest movies of all time. Jimmy Stuart later said the movie actually saved his life. Stewart coming out of the darkness of World War II, suffering from PDST, chose life in the midst of the darkest battle of his life.

After five years serving in World War 2, a true patriot, Stewart reflects on how, through God’s help, he was able to make it through both World War 2 and the evil attack of PDST after the war. Stewart describes a powerful scene in the movie where he cried out to God for help!

As I said those words, I felt the loneliness and hopelessness of people who had nowhere to turn, and my eyes filled with tears. I broke down sobbing. This was not planned at all, but the power of that prayer, the realization that our Father in heaven is there to help the hopeless had reduced me to tears.

In the middle of World War 3, as the entire world has been paralyzed with fear, l challenge you to do make the same choice Stewart made. When the world gets the darkest, choose Life! That means you place you eyes and focus on Jesus. You dwell on the promises and repeat the words of the Father. You ask daily for strength and guidance from the Holy Spirit to show others what a Life in Christ instead of a life in crisis looks like. All Wars come and go, through Christ you will overcome!
